In 2003, Phil Aiken founded Distinctive Exteriors Inc., aiming to enhance customer experiences in landscaping, following his long industry presence since 1996. Edgar, who joined in 2008 and later became President in 2022, brought his extensive background in Arts, Music, and Architecture to elevate the company's design capabilities. In 2012, Kevin Yamashita, a UNLV graduate and Landscape Architect, joined to manage the growing business. The company expanded further in 2015 with the launch of its Pools division, enhancing their offerings.
